County News
20th December - County Finals - the finals of the County Championships for the club champions from 2024/25 as part of the transitional arrangements to end of season playoffs were completed during the past few days. Please click here for details of the county champions and refer to the county Facebook Group for additional information.
20th December - County Team selections - teams for the next rounds of the Liberty, O60 Inter County KO and U25 Double Rink championships, all to be played during January, have now been posted to the website although selection notices were shared towards the start of December.
20th December - Lynnsport IBC - we understand that the proposed changes by the council and leisure complex have now been indefinitely postponed.
There are ongoing discussions about potentially reducing the number of rinks from 5 to 4, but the positive news is that Lynnsport, as our most westerly club, will continue to exist and it is now much better understood and accepted by the local area & council of the importance the club has to the community.
20th December - Executive Council Meeting - the next Executive Council meeting has been moved from Monday 2nd February to Sunday 8th February, and will be followed by a SGM for a presentation of proposals by the Hon. Competition Secretary for various changes to the county competitions to be voted on at the AGM in July.
All club contacts and delegates were advised of this change early in December.
